Our Mission Statement is simple:
Support the Troops: Bring Them Home NOW!
Take Care of Them When They Get Here!
We do this by working to educate people through sharing our personal stories in a variety of venues. MFSO-Chicago works in conjunction with various peace groups both locally and nationally. In addition, MFSO-Chicago actively seeks dialog with our Members of Congress and Senators to present our stories and unique perspective to our leadership in an effort to assist them in policy-making decisions on Iraq. After all, both our loved ones in the Military and each of us must live with those policy decisions in a very personal way every day.
Perhaps our most important function is to provide support to those who truly “Support the Troops”- other family members. As our Troops prepare, execute and return from their missions, the friendship and caring of someone who knows exactly what you are experiencing is a valuable asset in coping.
