Support Our Troops - De-Fund The War!

On November 7, 2006, the voters of Illinois and across the US sent a mandate to Washington DC:  End the War and Occupation of Iraq.  The new Democratic majority seems to be floundering in implementing this mandate.  MFSO-Chicago joins with MFSO members and voters all over the country to call on Congress to vote NO on any further funding for military operations in Iraq except for the monies necessary to bring our loved ones home.  To learn more about the campaign and to download postcards and other material to support this action please click on the De-Fund the War graphic above.

Eyes Wide Open - The Cost of War to Illinois

Please join MFSO-Chicago and The Lake Area Peace Partners on Wednesday November 1 at the College of Lake County, Grayslake IL as we present the acclaimed Memorial Exhibit that reminds us of the human cost of war in Iraq.  The exhibit will be on display from 1 pm to 8 pm.  For more information please visit the MFSO-Chicago blog
